Project Introduction:
Foot therapy, rooted in the rich heritage of traditional Chinese medicine, embodies both relaxation and wellness. In Yangzhou, a city renowned for its leisurely lifestyle and rich cultural history, this project takes inspiration from Southern Song Dynasty culture to craft an experiential foot spa that bridges the past and present.
This location in Yangzhou’s Guangling District pays homage to the city’s historical elegance:
“Life’s finest joys are found in Yangzhou,
where spring’s essence drapes weeping willows,
flowers plucked for gentle adornment,
skirts reflecting green pools and red blossoms.”
The design evokes this historical charm through modern aesthetic techniques, creating a space where nostalgia meets contemporary sophistication.
